Why Am I Always Sick?

if you want to know why you are sick,
look at what you are eating

if you don't know what I mean
do some research

keep yourself informed
food after all is the fuel to your body

It is definitely overwhelming with all the information that is out there
so start with one thing and grow from there.
even eliminating processed sugar can help significantly
the more you feel better,
the more you'll want to do.

Switching Sentences

to check, to re-check
yet to desire no response.
confused by my own desires,
riddled with fear and self judgement

words in one sentence
making no sense in the next
to fight not just against others
but against sorrows of self.

fighting so hard for clean air
air to make sense
air to say how
air to bend to will

when flipping about
where do I place my feet?
where is my earth, my ground?

I lay still
for fear of fear itself.
I lay still
to wait for my fear to pass.

Bare Minded

to sit, untested to time
unyielded by nature
forgiven and yet forgotten by request

as a whole we justify our separation
not by its true form of fear
but by one of different interests

to hide is easier than being seen
yet when hidden, our intents are strongly
recognized against our desires

so, even reluctantly
we need to shed our blankets of fear
step into the spotlight
and accept our true gifts
for all their glory.

we are most beautiful
when we are bare

bare your soul
bare your mind
unleash your constraints

be who you want to be
not who you fear you are.

Writing From Joy

to write from joy
a harder place to start than sorrow.
our complex loves a good victim story
oh, sympathize with me!
oh, pity me!

but when times comes to rejoice
we leave our heads and seek others to celebrate with
let us drink,
let us dance,
let us be merry!

to quiet our heads
to focus on the positives
to smile from so deep within
you are unaware of what you're smiling about anymore
it just feels so good.

my place of joy
