To fright,
no light to hide me
Amber faced,
disgraced and blinded

The words tare deep
The tears do seep
While no apology can mend it

Lost, outspoken
too far beyond broken
Seared,
cavaliered and delirious

The damage is done
You may think you have won
Yet we're both left standing here demolished.

Forever Hungry

to the minds of the vision hungry
thirst and desire for what's seemingly perfect
to believe happiness lurks behind these veils
to fall into the trap repeatedly
yet the victim remains the unaware
as at the start, never asked the question
therefore, presently only succumbing victim to habit;
thirsting for more, yet never receiving enough.
