Light Never Ceases

Peace to those that lie so still
bodies at rest
souls awaiting rebirth
only the breathing fear the passing
for our deceitful eyes cannot see past the
veil of living society

those that no longer use the same feet to tread this ground
have borne new ones
fresh of mind, body & spirit
lasting memories hidden but around a corner
for we never truly leave,
but recycle

to those who fear their soul,
confused by minded possession
anger against trivial chatter,
misdirection,
deception,
falsity

so far away from love
unable to believe of such light
completely covered in darkness
so sad,

to cry

to never have traveled so deep
be i unaware of where to start
how to begin to help

only knowledge of thy self
i shall be mine,
bright, white & beautiful

for if i shine bright enough,
perhaps you'll believe light exists
and with just that sliver of hope,
you may begin upon your journey
while so much just rests and awaits your uncovering.

reducing the stress on this body
