Love Yourself First

Did you love yourself today?

I can't see your hands

how easy our minds wander to doubt
how easy we turn on ourselves for those we love
how easy we don't speak our truths

the frustrations of silence
how it can drive sane mad
maddening disconnection from that which you hold so dearly
to snuggle that which wish not be held

the frustration of purposeful avoidance
to want to solve what the other wants to simply let rest

what builds
what angers
what turns to resentment

beauty turns to those who pursue peace
resolutions of understanding
for passion is strong
and desires high.

In Sheeps Clothing

young bride of this mortal soil
how do the skies weep under our ignorance
how doth the sun pretend to sparkle
how fleeting we allow happiness to rest
how it slips so eagerly from our fingertips
yet we reconcile that a morsel is better than none

Oh young naivety, how easy we abide by their rules
to question, we allow our great fears of emptiness
placed atop our worldly visions
to halt us from even consideration

this manipulation of our souls youth
is unkind and perhaps unfair
yet belief is still strong
that we possess all the weapons to combat these false views
if only we'd accept reality for what it truly were
and not this ugly mask of tempered beauty.

to drink the blood of the veins of those who try to hold you
you will most definitely fall

Sylvia's Vegan Kitchen

My amazing friend Sylvia has a beautiful little YouTube Vegan cooking show and would love all the support and love you can send her way. The video's are awesome because they're super fun, very educational and totally awesome deliciousness!! It's about time that everyone learns that Vegan food is F*** Amazeballs. So get educated and give it the good old college try ;)

And Remember; Question authority, Be kind to one another and Love each others faces!

RP

I love therefor I let him flow
he resides always at our side
never truly gone
yet I ache for his embodiment.

Turn The Key

to never truly know what one wants
for every time attainment happens
new desires arise

to simply enjoy the chase
to enjoy the puzzle
no wrongs can be in that place

unless never to find satisfaction
for you can never find peace or rest
to acquire a taste for sleeplessness
as if it were your body's truest desire

how easy we allow ourselves to be manipulated
to enjoy the freedom in our lack of participation
careless wonder for what really concerns us

to delve deep into the desires of others
for their joy rests upon your construction
for when your pieces begin to fall
they shall turn a blind eye
upon all that they have created and destroyed

You, unknowingly if not willingly
gave them veto on such things
you gave them the key to your destruction
 knock knock, is anyone home?
